Costa Verde II

Costa Verde II is fourteen special studio apartments and one spectacular penthouse on its own ocean view bluff inside of the Hotel Costa Verde property. Costa Verde II is designed for adults 17 years of age and older seeking a romantic getaway with a balmy, tropical ambiance, it's own pool and the best views in all of Manuel Antonio.

Each studio apartment features 750 square feet of space with expansive windows and balconies as well as commanding rain forest or ocean views. We have installed air conditioning and renovated all of the rooms at Costa Verde II over the last few months for a higher level of comfort, design and style.

Guests will enjoy a spacious balcony, with our famous rocking chairs, where you can relax to the sounds of the ocean waves below or hang out with your neighbors – monkeys, sloths and a variety of exotic birds in the surrounding jungle canopy. Howler, Capuchin and Titi monkeys will often greet you on the balconies and impress you with their playful antics.

Studio apartments have two queen-size beds, kitchenette, and ceiling fans. Studio-Plus units offer direct ocean views; Studio units offer less-direct ocean and rain forest views;

the fifth-floor Penthouse, with two king-size beds, boasts a spectacular panoramic view of both land and sea.

Three hundred yards from the beach and Manuel Antonio National Park, Costa Verde II features a cliff-side pool offering a bird's-eye view of the Park's coastline as well as rain forest canopy vistas resplendent with native birds and monkeys.

Guests in this area enjoy an adult-only pool with an outstanding, and romantic, view of the Pacific Ocean and Manuel Antonio National Park. This pool area has a full bar and lunch service and a separate private area for our range of spa services.*

If you’re planning your wedding, Costa Verde II may be a perfect spot for an intimate ceremony with family and friends. You’ll be perched high on the bluff between the glistening ocean and our glass-top pool. You may need to expect a few extra guests though – the monkeys and iguanas that frequent the pool bar are likely to join in the festivities.

Q. How far are you from the beach?
A. Rooms are between 250 and 450 yards from the beach and over 300 feet above the ocean. It's about a 10-minute walk to the beach. Uphill, on the way back, can take a little longer of course.

Q. How far are you from Manuel Antonio National Park?
A. The backside of the National Park is adjacent to Costa Verde. The park entrance, however, is located ½ mile from the hotel.
