Our Wedding Planner

Isabel Vargas, our on-site wedding planner, creates dream-like weddings by combining her design and décor skills from her former post as a wedding assistant with the natural environment and layout that Hotel Costa Verde has to offer. Her experience working with one of the premier wedding boutiques in Costa Rica has prepared her to meet brides’ requests and respond to the unique challenges that may arise when coordinating a wedding in the tropics. From over-the-top to simple and rustic Isabel can bring your wedding design vision to life.

Isabel is from the capital city of San Jose and had been residing here in Quepos on the Pacific Coast for 15 years. She has also lived in the United States and has worked in tourism for the last 15 years. She earned her degree in International Affairs at the Universidad Internacional de las Americas. Her background in real estate, customer service management and wedding planning made her the ideal choice for Costa Verde Weddings.

Q. How far are you from the beach?
A. Rooms are between 250 and 450 yards from the beach and over 300 feet above the ocean. It's about a 10-minute walk to the beach. Uphill, on the way back, can take a little longer of course.

Q. How far are you from Manuel Antonio National Park?
A. The backside of the National Park is adjacent to Costa Verde. The park entrance, however, is located ½ mile from the hotel.
