The rooms are between 250 and 400 meters from the beach and more than 90 meters above the ocean. The walk to the beach takes about 10 minutes; on the way back, uphill, it may take a little longer.

The back of the National Park borders Costa Verde. The park's main entrance is a little less than 1 km from the hotel.

Taxis and public buses are available at the hotel reception. The town of Quepos is about a 10-minute taxi ride (5 km) and the public bus stops in front of the hotel approximately every 30 minutes.

A public hospital operated by the government of Costa Rica is 15 minutes from the hotel. In addition, bilingual doctors are available 24 hours a day for any emergency.

The greatest risk is related to the roads and driving; drive only during the day until you get used to them and always wear your seatbelt. Water is drinkable in most of the country, although bottled water is recommended for newcomers. Insect repellent is useful at dawn and dusk during the rainy season.

Manuel Antonio is a tropical destination year-round. The dry season runs from December through April, with sunny days; the green season (May through November) offers a lush rainforest, more favorable rates, and rains generally in the afternoon.

We have a gift shop at the hotel. Most of the shops are in Quepos, where you'll find handicrafts, clothing, pharmacies and two large supermarkets. There are also local mini-markets approximately 1.5 km from the hotel.
